Mental Health Programming Assistant – (Canada Summer Job Position)
Position OverviewÂ
We are looking for a Summer Student Mental Health Programming Assistant to support our mental health and wellness initiatives. This role will help expand SABVC’s mental health outreach through creative programming, student engagement, and the development of accessible wellness resources. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and passionate about mental health awareness and student wellbeing.
This job is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. This temporary, full-time role (35 hrs per week) runs for a 4-month period from May to August 2026. This position is based in-person at our downtown Calgary office. Â
These position are funded by Canada Summer Jobs. To be eligible, you must be:

Between aged 15 to 30 years at the beginning of the employment period

Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations

Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment

**Please note that international students and other temporary residents of Canada are not eligible for this position, as the Canada Summer Job program is designed to support youth entering the Canadian labor market
