BVC Counselling

Bow Valley College offers free counselling services to current BVC students. The counsellors available are fantastic and can help to work with you to address many different concerns. The counselling appointments are also offered in-person, by phone call, or through video call.

Short-term individual counselling sessions 

Group counselling sessions that tackle specific areas of self-improvement 

Emergency appointments in cases of mental health crisis, suicide, or self-injury 

Mental Health Check: screenings to determine if you may need to reach out to a doctor or mental health professional for support 

Sexual and Gender Based Violence Support 

The Sexual and Gender Based Violence Response Advisor provides confidential support and care for any Bow Valley College students impacted by sexual violence on- or off-campus, or before you became a student at BVC.
