UPass

Thanks to a partnership between Bow Valley College and Calgary Transit, eligible BVC students can now enjoy lower, more affordable transit rates through the UPass program.

This digital pass gives eligible students unlimited access to Calgary Transit, making it easier and more affordable to get around the city and to campus.

If you need assistance setting up your UPass on the MyFare app, SABVC is happy to guide you through the process.

Eligibility

The UPass is now automatically included for all eligible BVC students, giving you unlimited access to Calgary Transit throughout your term, at a significantly discounted rate. If you meet the following criteria, you’ll be enrolled and billed directly, no extra steps needed:

Must have a valid @mybvc email address

Must be enrolled full-time in the semester - a minimum full-time credit load of 9 credits. Learners who carry less than 9 credits in a term will be considered part-time.

The Students' Association of Bow Valley College is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot Confederacy) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Iyarhe Nakoda.

We are situated on land where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, and the traditional Blackfoot name of this place is “Mohkinstsis” which we now call the City of Calgary.

The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
