Must have a valid @mybvc email address

Must be enrolled full-time in the semester - a minimum full-time credit load of 9 credits. Learners who carry less than 9 credits in a term will be considered part-time.

Must have a handheld device that supports either Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS).

Okay, I want UPass!

Follow these steps to avail for the digital UPass Ticket.

01

Register to UPass through mybvc.ca

Log in to your mybvc.ca student account, go to Registration, and choose Transit Pass.

Carefully review and accept/reject pricing, dates, and terms. Once accepted, your UPass is charged to your student account and becomes active for the term. Pay for your UPass with tuition by the deadline to avoid penalties.

Download and install the Calgary Transit My Fare app from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS)

03

Create your MyID account using @mybvc email

Go to Profile, click New Account, sign up with Calgary MyID using your MyBVC email.

04

Get your verification code

After entering your MyBVC email, check for a verification code. Once confirmed, return to the My Fare app to sign in. Your UPass will appear in your ticket wallet within 48 hours. If not, refresh your wallet by tapping the button at the top right.

The Students' Association of Bow Valley College is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot Confederacy) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Iyarhe Nakoda.

We are situated on land where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, and the traditional Blackfoot name of this place is “Mohkinstsis” which we now call the City of Calgary.

The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
