Looking to build your resume, support fellow students, and earn while you learn? Bow Valley College is hiring Math & Science Peer Tutors for the Fall 2026 term!
What You’ll Do
A Math Science Peer Tutor's role is to help students gain a better understanding of Math and Science course concepts. They provide help with high school Math and Science courses as well as with Nursing dosage calculations. Through one-on-one and small group work with students, the peer tutor will identify individual needs and provide strategies for understanding different course concepts. This is a paid volunteer role and will not show on co-curricular records.
$15 / hour
Up to 20 hours/week (minimum 2–6 scheduled hours/week)
Flexible shifts available Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
In-person on the 2nd floor of the BVC Downtown Calgary Campus Library (with some virtual options)
