SABVC’s Free Tax Clinic is Back for 2026

Being a student makes tax season feel extra stressful, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Your Students' Association is bringing back its Free Tax Clinic with the help of our Accounting students, led by Program Chair Andre Lambrinoudis, giving students an easy, stress‑free way to get their taxes done.

From March 4 to April 27, you can stop by the SABVC Office (South Campus, Room S2034) every Wednesday between 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM to drop off your tax documents. Our volunteers will handle the filing for you, and we’ll let you know when everything is ready for pickup.

Who Can Use the Clinic

The service is available to students with:

  • Individual income of up to $35,000

  • Family income of up to $45,000

What You Need to Bring

Make sure you bring all the slips and forms you need to file your taxes. Not sure which ones? You can find a simple list at www.sabvc.ca/tax-clinic.

How It Works

There’s no registration, just drop in during the clinic hours. It’s first come, first served, so coming a bit early can help.

The Students' Association of Bow Valley College is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot Confederacy) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Iyarhe Nakoda.

We are situated on land where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, and the traditional Blackfoot name of this place is “Mohkinstsis” which we now call the City of Calgary.

The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
