As SABVC always says, we are empowering your campus journey!

One key way we do this is by proudly funding Bow Valley College’s Peer Tutoring Program—one of the most valuable academic support services on campus.

The Peer Tutoring Program provides free, one-on-one academic support to students who need help with course-specific content. Need to brush up on your math skills? Looking for extra help in technical or digital studies? Want to improve your writing or language abilities? Our peer tutors are here to guide you every step of the way.

Each tutor is a faculty-recommended student who has excelled in their courses and is passionate about helping others succeed academically.

If you’re finding some assignments or exams challenging, this service can make a big difference. Academic struggles are a normal part of college life and you don’t have to face them alone.

So, stop by today and take your first step toward academic success.

The Students' Association of Bow Valley College is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot Confederacy) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Iyarhe Nakoda.

We are situated on land where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, and the traditional Blackfoot name of this place is “Mohkinstsis” which we now call the City of Calgary.

The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
